Beginning July 2026, eligible Washingtonians can use their WA Cares Fund benefits with approved providers. The WA Cares Fund has begun to register qualified service providers to offer the covered long-term services and supports to eligible beneficiaries.
Most working Washingtonians started contributing to the WA Cares Fund through their paychecks starting in July 2023. When beneficiaries meet the eligibility requirements, they will be able to use their benefit amount of $36,500 with registered providers, which will increase with inflation each year. This program gives beneficiaries the flexibility to choose whatever combination of covered services and supports will best meet their care needs. Most people will choose benefits that enable them to remain in their own home.
NWRC is looking for providers that are interested in registering to provide services for beneficiaries. We are currently searching for providers who provide the following services:
- Skilled Nursing
- Environmental Modification
- Dementia and Behavioral Support
- Housework and Errands
- Yardwork and Snow Removal
- Home Health Agencies
- And more..
